Funny enough, I've been thinking of doing a ringmaster soon, i think that's why I was so amused by stumbling onto your pictures.
Yes, I can't seem to break away from the flatness of illuminated manuscripts and Egyptian murals. They'll stick with me for the rest of me life.. *sad*

You're very welcome - I love this art. You absolutely should get a ringmaster, for all that I may be a bit biased in saying so. I've had a blast with mine and I'm glad you like him.
Ugh, I know how that goes! It took me ages and I'm still not sure I've ever accomplished it. On the other hand, Egyptian murals are incredibly elegant and timeless, and illuminated manuscripts are gorgeous - but then, if that is not what you're going for, it's a matter of personal taste.
