I really like this one It's hard to photograph, being rather large, but came out a little better than some of my others.
I spent a rather long time on it.... and I feel like it's worth it. I set out to do a piece with patterns, a hookah and an opulent naga, and I think I did well enough. Pity some of the gold on the hookah and his jewelry and robe can't show up :3

NICE! THose are some awesome patterns in the background there. I love all those tiny details. Came out really great! Was this for a class or just for yourself? Always drawing for yourself despite class and work is the BEST advice I can give you to survive college. Not only do you get better and better (faster than everyone else) but it saves your brain. My characters, stories, and doodles saved my life. @_@
Technically, this is experimental portfolio ¬.¬ But I did it for myself and pushed for myself, not a deadline. I had this itching at my brain for so long
It's good advice, I can tell already- so I'll take it, certainly. I haven't been doing enough finished things for myself recently, and it's making me go a little bonkers. It's lucky I'm never without my sketchbook.
Text RPGs with a friend back home help very much, and yes, characters are life <3 Nice to know I'm not the only one.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
